Core Modules
Voice AI
Voice-driven automation for calls and conversational workflows.
Voice AI enables Amantra to make, receive, and automate phone calls using conversational AI. It allows your organization to handle voice-based interactions at scale — without human agents for routine calls.
Use Cases
Outbound Surveys — Automatically call customers for feedback or NPS surveys
Appointment Reminders — Call patients, clients, or customers about upcoming appointments
Collections Calls — Automated payment reminder calls
Alert Calls — Call stakeholders when a critical system event occurs
IVR Automation — Navigate IVR menus and extract information automatically
Onboarding Calls — Welcome calls with new customers or employees
How It Works
A workflow or agent triggers a voice call via the Voice AI tool in the digital agent.
Amantra uses a configured voice (text-to-speech) to deliver a message.
The recipient can respond (speech-to-text conversion).
Amantra processes the response and continues the conversation according to the configured script.
The call result (answers, sentiment, outcome) is returned to the triggering workflow or stored for reporting.
Key Features
Text-to-Speech — Natural AI voice delivery of messages
Speech-to-Text — Convert caller responses to text for processing
Call Scripting — Define conversation flows with branching logic
Scheduled Calls — Schedule calls for a specific time or within a time window
Call History — Full recording and transcript of every call
Voicemail Detection — Detect voicemail and leave a message or try later
Multi-language — Support for multiple languages and accents

Scheduled Calls — Setting up automated call campaigns
Call Management
The Call History view in Voice AI shows every call made by the platform — completed, in-progress, failed, and scheduled.
Call History
Go to Voice AI → Call History to see all calls with:
Phone Number — Number that was called
Direction — Inbound or Outbound
Status — Completed, Failed, Voicemail, No Answer, In Progress
Duration — Length of the call
Date/Time — When the call was made
Workflow — Which workflow triggered the call
Initiating AI Calls
To initiate and manage voice interactions, the platform supports two primary methods: Direct Calling and Batch Calling.
#### 1. Direct Calling (Instant)
Allows you to call up to 3 contacts concurrently, where an automated bot takes over the conversation in real-time.
Click on Initiate AI Call and select Direct Calling.
Enter the recipient phone numbers in the Add Phone Numbers field (ensure you include the country code without the “+” sign, e.g.,
91XXXXXXXXXX).Press
,or Enter to add multiple numbers.Select the target workflow from the Synapse dropdown menu (e.g.,
voice_test).Click Start Call to execute the concurrent calls immediately.
#### 2. Batch Calling (Scheduled)
Allows you to upload a bulk contact list and schedule automated calls that are managed intelligently based on timezones, working hours, and call pacing.

Call Detail
Click any call to open the detail view:
Recording — Playback the call audio (if recording is enabled)
Transcript — Full text transcript of the conversation
Outcome — What the caller said/responded
Variables — Data captured during the call (e.g., survey responses)

Call Statuses
Completed — Call was answered and completed successfully
No Answer — Call rang but was not answered
Voicemail — Call went to voicemail
Busy — Line was busy
Failed — Call could not be placed (invalid number, provider error)
In Progress — Call is currently active
Re-attempting Failed Calls
For calls that failed due to no answer or busy signal:
Automatic Backend Retry: The system handles retries directly from the backend. You simply need to configure the retry interval (e.g., 1 hour or 24 hours) and specify the maximum retry count, after which the system will automatically reattempt the call.
Exporting Call Data
Export call history to CSV for reporting or CRM upload:
Apply date range and status filters.
Click Export → CSV.
Scheduled Calls
Scheduled Calls allow you to plan voice outreach campaigns — calling a list of numbers at a specific time or within a defined window.
Creating a Scheduled Call Campaign
Go to Voice AI → Scheduled Calls.
Click Initiate Call.
Click Batch Calling.
Configure the campaign.
Click Schedule.
Contact List Format
Upload a CSV with at minimum a phone column:
Custom fields in the CSV are available as variables in your call script.
Call Script
A call script defines the conversation the AI will have. It includes:
Greeting — Opening message
Main Content — The purpose of the call
Branching — If the person says X, say Y; if they say Z, say W
Closing — How to end the call
Scripts are configured in the Voice AI script editor.
Monitoring a Campaign
Once a campaign is running, go to Voice AI → Scheduled Calls → [Campaign Name] to see:
Progress (X of Y calls completed)
Success rate
Breakdown by outcome (Completed / Voicemail / No Answer / Failed)
Individual call results
