Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
Execute manual tests on web, mobile, or desktop applications across multiple environments.
Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Perform regression, functional, smoke, and system testing.
Work closely with developers to understand the system and resolve issues
Validate bug fixes and coordinate re-testing with the development team.
Prepare test reports and communicate test results and progress.
Contribute to improving the QA process and suggest enhancements to testing practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test documentation.
Proficiency with bug tracking tools
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
4–5 years of experience in Manual Testing & QA processes
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, test case design & defect life cycle
Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Zephyr etc.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment with good communication skills
